The crawlers are provided with well-planned, differentiated learning opportunities that facilitate all areas of development in a safe, stimulating, warm and nurturing environment. Activities are planned in the classroom and baby gym for children to develop their language, physical and cognitive ability.
A critical aspect of each session is Sensory Integration. Regularly using and developing the seven sensory systems is fundamental to a child’s ability to learn and function in the school and home environment. The babies will be exposed to well researched and developed sensory activities, using a wide range of mediums and age appropriate equipment.
The movers are differentiated from the crawlers primarily through their developmental stages and physical abilities - having now reached an age and a stage in which they will interact with our materials in a different manner.
Continuing on from the sensory integrated programme of the crawlers, the classes consist of planned activities in the classroom and baby gym that facilitate all areas of development. We also offer a bilingual class (Mandarin/English), allowing the movers to begin their experiences of learning and interacting with a second language through age appropriate mediums and developmental goals.
Our toddler programmes are planned specifically for the ever changing developing needs of this age group, under the guidance of a knowledgeable early years specialist. Toddlers are energetic and bursting with enthusiasm for new challenges and experiences. Our programmes place a special focus on giving children plenty of time to master new skills, develop independence and social skills, promote rich language experiences and provide children with the opportunities to become confident, curious and capable in any environment.
A key aspect of each session is sensory and creative play, with an emphasis on establishing regular routines along with well researched and planned learning activities.
We also offer a bilingual class (Mandarin/English) and a one-day Mandarin class, allowing the toddlers to continue their development in learning and interacting with a second language through age appropriate mediums and developmental goals.
Transition class is a critical bridge between an accompanied and unaccompanied class at Bebegarten. Children enter a lower ratio, nurturing and supportive environment led by two early years specialists and can expect to spend between 3 – 10 months in this class. It is in this very low teacher/child ratio which allows the children to receive the full support needed to equip them for a longer, more structured day in our nursery programmes and allows for a child’s confidence to build towards unaccompanied learning challenges and development.
The focus is on empowering children and promoting confidence, independence, play skills, routines, creativity, language, physical and cognitive abilities. Small group work and individual activities ensure children are provided with the appropriate support and challenges to enable them to reach their fullest potential as well as experience a seamless move into our nursery level programmes.
