Research and practice has shown us how sensory learning is critical to children’s development. This presentation aims to provide you with a clear over-view of the relationship between the brain and our senses, an understanding of how to support children in their development through sensory integration activities and an understanding of the role Occupational Therapists play in working with the theory of sensory integration.

About the speaker

Aynsley Carter MScOT is an experienced Occupational Therapist who has offered paediatric services in a variety of countries including New Zealand, Holland, Canada and currently Hong Kong. Aynsley’s continuous goal is to educate parents and guide and empower children/adolescents to reach their full potential across all environments of life.
